Membership
You can join the Southern New Hampshire
Jewish Men's Club by filling out our Membership
Form, writing a check for $36, made out to SNHJMC. Send it
to Steve Grass, SNHJMC Treasurer, 15 Erion Drive, Nashua, NH 03062.
Please consider adding a donation to the
Bruce Retchin-Neil Goren Fund, which helps
Jewish children in our community (see below)! There is a section on the Membership
Form set aside for this purpose.
The Bruce Retchin-Neil Goren Fund
One of our most important services to the
community, sponsored by the SNHMJC, is the Bruce Retchin-Neil
Goren Fund.
When Bruce Retchin,
our good friend and officer of the SNHJMC passed away 16 years ago, the
club created this fund for the express purpose of helping Jewish children
in the community. The fund provides Tanachs to
the bat mitzvah and bar mitzvah students.
When Neil Goren, another long-term officer
and leading contributor to the SNHJMC since its inception, passed away,
it was decided to add his name to the fund.
Please consider adding a few dollars to your
SNHJMC membership check for this worthy cause.
Committees
Kitchen Krew
— If you can help out in the kitchen, please let us know. No particular
skill needed (we will train)!
Social Action Committee — This group
works with social action counterparts at the area temples as well as
other sources to provide service to our community.
Membership Committee — If you have a
few minutes a month to spare and don't mind calling a few of your friends
to encourage them to attend our events, we could use your help.
Sports/Activities — In this committee,
you will obtain facilities, make sure the equipment gets there and
arrange events.
